Gatlinburg Winefest (Gatlinburg, TN)

The Gatlinburg Wine Weekend 2018 consists of two events, the Gatlinburg Wine Tour and the Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest.

The Gatlinburg Wine Tour is Friday April 13, 2018 and takes you on a guided tour of Gatlinburg’s wineries and wine establishments. Registration/check in runs from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the tour begins promptly at 6:00 pm. Seats are limited for this event so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance.

The Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest will be held at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts on Saturday April 14 from 1pm - 6pm.

Wineries for the event will come from all over Tennessee! Visitors age 21 and older can purchase a ticket ($25 in advance and $30 at the gate) and receive a wristband for sampling and a branded wine glass. The wineries will provide wine samples of 1 oz at a time to everyone with a wristband. Guests will be able to purchase bottles of Tennessee wine to take home as well as wine related merchandise.

Sanctioned by the Tennessee Wineries Association, the highly successful wine festival will feature 18 + wineries from across Tennessee providing samples of their labels along with small dish fare from the best restaurants in the Smoky Mountains.

Guests at Smoky Mountain Wine Fest will have the opportunity to sample wine from all over the state of Tennessee. Vendors attending in 2017 were: Apple Barn Winery, Goodwater Vineyards, Grinder’s Switch Winery, Hillside Winery, Keg Springs Winery, Mill Bridge Winery, Mountain Valley Winery, Spout Springs Estates Winery, Sugarland Cellars, Sumner Crest Winery, The Winery at Seven Springs, Amber Falls Winery, Beans Creek Winery, Lynchburg Winery, Natchez Hills Winery, and Cades Cove Cellars.

UNCORK THE FUN at Middle Tennessee's premier wine festival! Visitors stroll from booth to booth sipping Tennessee wines, savoring gourmet specialty foods, shopping for handcrafted items from local artisans, enjoying music, and attending our much-anticipated wine & food sampling seminars. 

Even though we are moving indoors this year, we will still have an outdoor space, so feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets so you can enjoy your samples outdoors. We will also provide ample seating indoors for those who wish to have one spot to enjoy sampling and hang out with friends. 


We are pleased to accounce that entertainment will once again be provided by DJ David Hale @ Hawk Specialty Services. A wide variety of tunes throughout the day is guaranteed to make you relax one moment and kick up your heels the next!

Toast of Jackson – a fine wine & art festival is a celebration of local and regional wineries.  The wineries have a wide variety of wines for all to sample, enjoy and purchase.  This growing Tennessee industry has won several awards across the country, now we have brought them together under one roof for you and your friends to enjoy.

To compliment your wine experience we have gathered a wide selection of artisans and regional craftspeople. With a large selection of handcrafted items available everyone is sure to find something that will compliment their style.

What is a wine tasting without food, we will be selling some tasty food to enjoy with your wine, special thanks to our grill masters for cooking up some amazing food for you.

Free Wine & Food seminars, by Tammy Algood, a leading expert in this field will conduct three free seminars of wine and food pairings.  She will help you pair the new wine label that you have found with an easy food selection that is sure to compliment your wine experience, also cooking with wine and how wine makes food better. This experience will guide newcomers to become wine experts and enhance the skills of the experienced wine taster.

This is a fund raiser to raise funds for the Exchange Club of Jackson and Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

At this festival each winery offers complimentary one ounce samples of their wines, as well as wine for sale by the bottle or the case.

Toast of  Jackson is sanctioned by the Tennessee Farm Growers Association and the Pick Tennessee Products a division of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
